Mike Rottenborn, CEO of Hybrid Software Group. commented: “Our brands are well respected in the Japanese market. We have had a local presence since 2004 when Global Graphics KK was established in Tokyo and over the years our highly motivated and professional team has established Harlequin as the RIP of choice for Japanese printer manufacturers. They are now joined by the other companies in our group to present all of our solutions for industrial inkjet applications at IGAS.
Yoshiyuki Hagiwara, Director of Global Graphics KK adds, “IGAS provides us with a platform to educate our OEM and end-user customers on the best technology for their printing operations. Our stand will feature live demonstrations from all Group companies and we are particularly pleased to show SmartDFE in action, the first technology co-developed by the Group.
A major update of the SmartDFE will be presented on the stand. SmartMedia™ is a new suite of components that simplifies the process of getting the best quality and color output from a digital press. Powered by the award-winning PrintFlat™ and enhanced with powerful color tools from ColorLogic GmbH, SmartMedia consolidates all OEM press reference settings for every media and ink set into a library of media definitions and, through a wizard type, allows press operators to easily select the appropriate combination of media and ink set without the need for specialist knowledge. Other new features featured across the Group include:
HYBRID Software’s iC3D suite is now updated to version 8.0 with new features and additional improvements, including an optimized shrink sleeve model with several new features. The award-winning iC3D suite was the first all-in-one design software specifically developed for packaging designers and converters.
The Meteor Inkjet PCC2-E print controller board, which offers higher performance than its predecessor and is backwards compatible with Meteor head driver boards.
Xitron’s new Navigator Flexo Suite: Label for End Users designed as a powerful workflow for flexo label printers who have moved beyond basic RIPs and need more automation. It integrates powerful trapping and step & repeat software from sister company HYBRID Software into the Navigator Workflow product.
