Target Specialty Products Hosts “Winning Tactics For Perimeter Pest Control” Webinar – PCT

GREENSBORO, North Carolina – Syngenta announced the appointment of a new Head of Technical Services, Head of Marketing Communications and Head of Markets within its Professional Pest Management (PPM) business. With years of relevant industry and professional experience, these individuals will help further Syngenta’s mission of a life uninterrupted by pests.

Tim Hussen was named the newest manager of PPM Technical Services covering the Midwest and Northeast territories. He will support Syngenta’s distribution network and customers, as well as technical support and training for PPM’s sales and marketing teams. He will also work closely with universities and industry consultants to develop technical protocols for trial work.

A long-time veteran of the pest control industry, Husen most recently served as a technical services representative for another manufacturer. He has also held positions as Technical Service Manager at Rollins and Technical Training and Quality Control Manager at Waltham Pest Services. He holds a BSc in Biology, as well as an MSc and PhD in Entomology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Chris Giley joins Syngenta as the new Head of Marketing Communications for PPM, bringing 25 years of marketing and communications experience to the role. He will oversee all marketing and communications efforts for the company, playing a key role in developing communications strategies for Syngenta products and programs.

Gigley holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University, as well as several certifications in social media marketing. He most recently served as Director of Marketing for Thermaco, Inc., and previously led marketing and communications teams at OT Sports.

Kristen Oakley was promoted to Market Director for PPM at Syngenta. In her new role, she will be responsible for strategic forecasting, pricing and promotion of Syngenta’s pest control portfolio.

Oakley joined Syngenta in 2009, working in various roles before moving to PPM in 2013 as Head of Marketing Communications. In this role, Oakley used his expertise to oversee many successful communications efforts for Syngenta products and programs, including Demand CS insecticide, the PestPartners 365 program and Tandem insecticide. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University.

“Kristen has been a fundamental part of our PPM marketing team, helping to develop and grow our Syngenta solutions through her creativity and thought leadership,” said Dave Ravel, sales manager for Syngenta Professional Solutions in North America. “We are excited about her upcoming journey on the PPM team and the innovative approaches she will bring.”
